Definition

Personal beliefs is an AP-level theme that explores how individuals develop their values, ethics, spirituality, and worldview. In foreign language courses, students learn to articulate and discuss opinions on identity, morality, faith, and philosophy in the target language.

  • Writing an essay in French about 'la tolérance religieuse' (religious tolerance)
  • Discussing 'los valores familiares' (family values) in a Spanish debate
  • Presenting on 'persönliche Überzeugungen' (personal convictions) in German class
