Regular polygons
MathDefinition
Polygons where all sides are equal in length and all interior angles are equal in measure. Examples include equilateral triangles, squares, and regular hexagons.
Examples
- A regular hexagon has six equal sides and six 120° angles
- A stop sign is a regular octagon
- Each interior angle of a regular pentagon is 108°
