Definition

Polygons where all sides are equal in length and all interior angles are equal in measure. Examples include equilateral triangles, squares, and regular hexagons.

Examples

  • A regular hexagon has six equal sides and six 120° angles
  • A stop sign is a regular octagon
  • Each interior angle of a regular pentagon is 108°
